Summer Lunch & EGM at Hever
Our summer lunch was held at the beautiful Hever Castle Golf Club, and was a well attended event. KIC members enjoyed meeting up for a chat over drinks and canapés on the terrace , followed by a two course lunch with wine, coffee and mints in the Waterside Restaurant. Our president Sheila ran a swift EGM after lunch where the new committee was elected and activity leaders thanked (with a small gift) for their efforts and contribution to run a variety of activities available for members. An interesting talk on ‘Hever castle and its history ‘ by Hever Castle guide Iain Smith rounded off a great day. Fabulous atmosphere all around!
